I went to replace the switch on my ceiling fan. First turned breaker off. Then I took a picture of the ceiling fan so I will know how it is supposed to go back together. I took it apart to get to the switch. I cut the 2 wires as long as I could from the old switch. Easily removed the old one and replaced with the new one. I used the smallest wiring nuts I could find. One went on with ease with no problem. The second was more difficult. With cutting the wires keeping them long there still was barely enough room for the other wiring nut because of the ceiling fan mount. I got it back together after about 45 minutes because I kept dropping some of the parts over and over. I am sure it can be done in 15 minutes by a more skilled person but I got it done and it is working great. I saved a lot of money by doing it myself. Great product and purchase.
