We use air purifier candles every day, and they are very expensive. They burn down to a point, and then won't burn anymore, even though there is a good deal of the wax in the bottom of the container. So I figured a candle warmer would be just the thing to help us use every last bit of that expensive wax. It has worked marvelously! This lamp does the trick, while looking pretty too! I love that it is height adjustable, because the candles we use are short and fairly small. I can put the lamp down as close to the candle as I want to, which is nice. It gets very hot, and heats up the wax almost immediately. It also puts more of the fragrance of the wax into the room that burning it ever did. I also like that it has a dimmer, as the brightest setting is super duper bright! I use it on a much lower setting, and it is still plenty bright and plenty hot to melt the wax. The timer function is a neat addition, but we only need to burn our candles for 1 hour a day. The minimum time you can set the lamp is 2 hours, so we don't use that. But for most other situations, the timer would be really nice. The glass shade is really beautiful, and the whole lamp is just very attractive. I chose this particular lamp because it has a base on it that you can put any size candle on. Some I saw were more restrictive. This one allows for lots of versatility and lots of options. It is a little pricey, but overall, I am very happy with it. I would definitely recommend it!
