Despite the fact that 2 out of 3 of the fans have stopped, I still use it because I have a standing fan that is much power powerful than these little 100-200mm fans blowing air into this well vented light. It doesn't heat up.Eventually I can probably open the light and replace the fans. I don't think I have any warranty so I might as well open it up and replace them. I'm not an electrician but I have worked on computer for 20+ years and these fans are the same as desktop cooling fans. If necessary I'll buy new fans and splice them in, or just unplug the old fans depending how the board is setup.I love how all these LED fans use computer power supply cables. I can get thick ones to use in place of what was shipped.I also recommend getting 1-2 of the COB LEDs. With LED lights, for a 3.5'x3.5'x72" grow tent I run with 4 lights. Some are the COB LEDs that actually head up, and some do more IR and UV like this one.Good deal for the money. Has separate veg and bloom modes, can use both at same time but heat becomes an issue.I was skeptical at first when purchasing this product wasn't sure of the company and the quality, since the price was so low. After receiving the product noticed quality was great, lights were bright and easy to hook up and operate, unfortunately 30 days later had a slight hiccup with the light failing. Contacted the company and IMMEDIATELY the issue was resolved! Which surprised me most companies stall and take their time but not this company! The new light works beautifully, thank you for the FANTASTIC service! Definitely recommend!!I am happy with the product, it puts out about what you would expect for such a cheap light. I will add that advertising it as a 2000 watt light is a blatant lie. This is a 390 watt light.Installed today and so far so good. Nice an bright. I could not be more impressed with their customer service and how quickly they corrected my issue. When I posted my review I was absolutely not expecting the issue to be addressed and thought I would just have to deal with it and buy a new light. This company was right on with everything. I could not be more appreciative. I like Honorsen and understand these types of defects could happen just with shipping along but their customer service was EFF'ing awesome. Fans not very loud and really minimal heat coming off fan exhaust on back - less than expected actually. Again, VERY Bright. Have had it running for a bit less than a week and I'm very happy with it. Will probably buy the next size up sometime later. Not using in grow tent setup, open basement (not for pot - veggies - aeroponic vertical tower). Hanging from one end so it directs light horizontally and naturally tips slightly downward - perfect for my use. Nice hanging wires/hardware and little pully but I hung from two screws in wall so the thing would not rotate around. Not heavy, seems well constructed etc. Without eye protection, after a minute or more, you leave the room and your eyes see everything green until they readjust. Again, wear eye protection... Switches for bloom/veg modes work well and seem solid.I have a Ocimum tenuiflorum plant imported from other country. Usually I leave them in the sun in summer in the NYC but in the winter they are gonna die in the brutal cold so I found this and this does a great job protecting it. I have used a smart plug and set the schedule for 2 hours every day for interval of 1 hrs in morning and evening.Pros1.This really acts as a actual sun and the plants are blooming.2.The best part of this fan is that it is very little noisy than the other brand I used before and that's why I love it.ConsThis has a smoking wattage of 3000 so watch out where and how long you plug in.??? Good points!The lamp generates a lot of heat. My indoor tent went from 20 celcius to 25. I'm happy about that because I have banana trees and other tropical plants that will absolutely love it. However, if you need a lower temperature in your tent, you might need to use your fan a bit more. I also wonder if that means that it's less energy efficient than other lamps.Finally, the fan generates noise. It's not that bad, but I was used to a quiet tent and the tent is in my home office, so I'll need to adjust to the noise. I can't say if it's much noisier than other lights because it's the first time that I have a light with a fan like that.I'm happy with this purchase, shipping was fast and I believe the light will help my plants a lot.i used this light for 2 grow rooms for cannabis......was very very dissappointed in the results....i am past the return date but as anyone knows a crop takes at least 10 weeks from start to finish so now i am 6 weeks over the deadline but would prefer to return these 2 lights i ordered as they dont do the job i was expecting them to do..... is this possible?????????? my crop did not yield even 1/8 of my usual weight with HPS lights so not only have i lost the cost of this purchase but 7/8 0f the crop expected as well as my time and fertiliser and plant costs... all around most disheartening........can i please return these lights....thanksI'm using this product for two purposes, to support a small citrus plant that has been brought in for the winter months, and to support the growth of new vegetable seedlings.While the build quality is robust and professional-grade, the operating instructions are vague. However, my biggest problem is that the power cord is much too short; given that it is located on the end of the device, the weight of the cord pulls the lamp off balance and requires some deft adjustments to compensate. When you add an extension cord, this only exasperates the problem.Overall, this manufacturer should consider some type of stand to compliment the light, and make the integration of the power cord part of the design, then they would have an award-winning product.Great Light I can easy see the difference to a 1000w led. She diffuse some heat for me it's a good thing because my grow tent it's in my basement and the temp it's cold. I just start the flower stage and I place the light at 24in from the plant and I burn nothing and the plant really like it. The metal hinge it's so big not scare the lamp fall on the plant. Over all its a good choice for your lovely plant
