When inline switch on my lamp quit I was concerned about fixing it. I am 76 my hand shake and I have arthritis in them.These switches are solid and easy to install. It took me a bit of time to feed the wire into the slots, but that was due to my shaking hands. Once I figured out a system it was "easy peesie". Someone with solid hands would do this in a few seconds. The switch is positive and is much better than the OEM switch that came with the lamp.A good buy and value.
