Compatible with certified Z-Wave controllers, Smart Dimmer 2E has been tested with HomeSeer, Piper, Mios Vera and Vera Edge, and Wink.

I have several Aeon Labs Z-Wave devices on my SmartThings home network and they all have been reliable performers. The first Aeon Labs switch I bought was over a year ago and it continues to be stellar. This dimmer is off to the same great start. I have many other brands of switches on my network but from now on will stick exclusively with the Aeon labs products. My hub always quickly detects the Aeon Labs products and it is so simple to get them configured to my personal tastes. The new generation has a slimmer profile and does not block the other wall outlet. I also really like the fact it has a manual on/off button and can accommodate a three prong plug input. The dimming feature works great with my dimmable LED bulbs and I love the fact the device monitors the wattage output while in use. I think this is the most feature rich plug-in dimmer switch available at it's price point.As an aside, this dimmer switch works great with my Amazon Alexa for on/off functionality. Aeon Labs, SmartThings, and Alexa have resulted in a huge enhancement to my home!
