Nice dimmer switch. I did not use the 3-way wire, but the single-pole application installed very easily and I even have a junction in the box to carry power to an outlet below. Despite the size of the switch, everything still fit in a regular sized box. The sienna color was a little more brown that I was expecting at first, however, it ended up matching pretty well with the copper outlet covers I had purchased. I am using two of these with Ensenior recessed LED's. One room has 2 lights and the other has 6, but both switches control them well and provide a very adequate range of dimming control. The only thing I think that could possibly make these switches better would be the screw connections on the side like a regular outlet. It's probably just personal preference, but I tend to like those better than a wire coming out of the back. Overall though, would buy again if I needed another dimmer switch.I bought this switch to go with the Ensenior 6 Pack 6 Inch Ultra-Thin LED Recessed Ceiling Light with Junction Box (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08KG3QN1M/) I bought to go in a shop. The switch was easy to install. Basically the same as all other switches and outlets I've installed. It's worked perfectly the last 6 months since I installed it.I was replacing my light fixtures with dimmable ones and this has proven to be super duper easy to install. >5 minutes. My home doesn’t have ground wires so I simply terminated the ground wire with a wago nut and installed a plastic light switch cover. Works just fine! This switch can be used as either a 3-way switch or a conventional single way switch. By convention, single way switches operate so that one presses the toggle on top to turn the light on and on the bottom to turn it off. If you follow the enclosed instructions for installing this switch as a single way unit you will get the reverse behavior. I used the user message board to see how to fix this even though I knew what to do from experience. The response I got was contradictory from two different "expert" responders. One said I should follow the instructions and I must have installed the switch upside down (this is hard to do if you are paying any attention) and the other (the correct response) was to use the red/white striped wire in place of the solid red wire as the instructions direct. This last response is the correct one.The switch works fine. Just make sure you do not follow the instructions if you want correct operation for a one way installation.Product did not include the cap to twist wires together. Luckily we had several on hand.Got this for our dining room as sometimes we like light when we use the room for things other than having a meal. Gives us options for how much light we need for things like playing games or using the larger table for a project that we need to see things better. The instruction were super easy to understand and it only took a few minutes to install. We didn't need any tech support. We did use tech support to make sure we were ordering the correct dimmer for our situation. They were very good and emailed us the correct item number so that we had the number when we placed our order. When scheduling installation of some new light fixtures my electrician told me to pick up a couple of dimmer switches and specified the Lutron brand. He said it was the brand of choice for him, and they seemed to be installed very easily, I am not a Diy’er by any means but for those that are I believe the installation would be a piece of cake. The dimmers go well with the other switches in my home and worked like a charm I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this brand again and Amazon actually had the best price over the big box stores, at least at the time I purchased mine. After installing a laser printer on the same circuit as my 6 led recessed lights, the bulb flicker was very bad when the printer ran. This dimmer switch improved the flicker, reducing it more than 50%.We did a complete remodel of our master bathroom top to bottom including new light fixtures. Also put in a new freestanding soaker tub so wanted to be able to dim the lights for a relaxing bath. This dimmer switch works great. I put in Edison style LED bulbs and this dimmer takes them from full brightness to complete darkness, and every shade in between. I saved a few bucks by buying open box but even new at full price it would be worth it.If you’re in need of a dimmer switch look no further. This one’s a keeper. Recommend.* Helpful votes always appreciated *I've installed many types of dimmers at home, mostly to replace the cheap ones that were here that did a poor job on led lights I switched to.I installed this dimmer on some led ceiling lights that are rated to be dimmable from 10-100%. The same lights are dimmed perfectly by a pair of wemo dimmers in my basement. It barely dims them, I'd guess it dims down to 80% at best. Wasted my time. The switch is light cheap plastic. Yes, I know I'm paying a portion of the price of a good dimmer, but I expected more.If you want a dimmer that's going to properly dim almost any led light, you'll have to invest a little more. Maybe the maestro would be a better choice. Our old bulbs were incandescent and the dimmer wasn't designed for LEDs. When we bought cheap Luminus bulbs from Costco, they flickered like crazy and barely dimmed. There was also a faint buzz after 15 minutes or so.I popped in this dimmer and it was a world of difference. Huge dimming range, and you can adjust it even further with another slider behind the faceplate. It works with no ground wire, though it lacks screws or push-in connectors. Instead, wires stick out the back and you have to use screw-on connectors to join to your existing wiring. This adds a good amount of bulk to an already deep switch.Still, I'll probably get a few more of these as I convert more rooms to dimmable LEDs.The electronics behind this switch are bulky and definitely need a deep electrical box. I needed to replace my box in order to install this dimmer. Unlike most switches, this one doesn't have screw terminals. Instead it has wires you need to connect to your house power using wire nuts. It dims nicely, but I wish it would dim a little darker (I do have the hidden adjustment dial set to the lower setting).Dimmer works well and is easy to install. Expect same excellent long-term performance we've had from other Lutron products. The short-coming that was not anticipated is that we didn't see anywhere in the description, that while this dimmer CAN be used on single-switch circuits or 3-way switch installations, on 3-way circuits there can be only one dimmer. If wanting both (or more) switches on the circuit to be dimmers, than Diva will NOT work (Lutron Maestro is one that will).
