I bought these because I wanted to be able to control a ceiling fan and the light independently with my SmartHome app. I had a really hard time getting them to pair with my HomeKit, but I really do not think that this was the fault of the devices. I think it was primarily the fault of my eero router. After many attempts I got it to connect, but then I discovered that one of them didn't seem to work properly.It's possible that I did something wrong, but I sort of doubt it. I am a field service engineer by trade and I am very familiar with electronics and electrical devices.I ended up returning this item and not re-ordering a replacement because I decided to solve the Smart ceiling fan/ceiling fan light issue a different way. The outlet box was too small to fit two of these devices in it, was also a deciding factor for me. However, if I am in need of a HomeKit relay I will definitely give these another try, because they were priced right and I probably just got a defective one which can certainly happen.
