I'm going to keep it short and say if you're looking for an every day controller get the Nintendo Pro controller, it's one of the best controllers in all of gaming. But if you're just looking for a controller just in case someone stops by to play, this is a great choice. I was skeptical because I grew up in an era when 3rd party controllers were garbage, but this won me over.We bought 2 of these like 6 months ago, and they still work perfectly...no drift. They aren't as smooth (for aiming etc) then official controllers, but they work perfect for Mario Kart since that's what we mainly use them for. The charge does last a long time, but they do become disconnected after 5 minutes of afk which can kinda get annoying if you are getting up a lot. We liked them so much we just purchased a third one.Love this controller! The packaging and everything is amaizngHonestly, I was nervous buying controllers that weren't 60 plus dollars, BUT I purchased these anyway and was pleasantly surprised. It works great and feels awesome in your hand. Definitely a must when it comes to wireless switch controlersThis controller has a really good weight and the buttons and the LR sticks have a good feel. Its the only third party controller I've tried that actually tur s the system on without me needing to turn on the system first. The problem with mine is that the d pad up key in particular seems to be.... miss connected. I notice it on games that require you to use the d pad instead of the L stick for play (like Terri's 99, pacman 99, bomberman online) i will press a button and it thinks i hit the up key. I won't press anything and it think I hit the up key.If it weren't for that, I would easily give this 5 starsCustomer service has been very nice and willing to work with me, so I do recommend this productI'll compare this Pro controller with:1. Nintendo Joy con controllers. - Winner-Wireless Pro controller. It is a million times better. Larger buttons, more comfortable and most important it doesn't have a Joy con 'drift'.2. Other generic pro controllers. - Wireless Pro Controller. While you could argue they are mostly the same, there is one significant difference. This one has more weight. It didn't feel hollow or like it's going to fall apart. Definitely better for longer gameplay.3. The Official Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. - Winner, it depends what you're looking for. If your looking for nfc for amibo function, want the official product, it's the Official Nintendo Switch Pto Controller.Remember, you'll have to pay 3 to 4 times as much. However, if you're like me and want a similar product with less bells and whistles the winner is this Wireless Pro Controller. It has great weight, feel, no lag, is easy to pair.Well done.Works well with my Switch and Switch Lite. Pretty comfortable - a little smaller than your typical controller but not by a lot. Sticks are good, buttons are firm but not as firm as Joycon buttons. Has a USB-C port which is nice. I plugged it into my Windows PC and it does work - played some Steam games on it. I didn't expect that to work but it did! Only downside I had was it had a chemical-like smell when it was unboxed, but that went away after a while. For $26 it's an OK buy, but it frequently has big coupon discounts (right now it's a 40% off coupon) so you're looking at closer to $16 - that's a great deal IMO.I’ve been reviewing a few different Switch controllers because it’s nice to have extras when you have kids who will tend to break them. It’s shaped closely like a switch controller but feels closer to a PS4 controller in both size and weight. This controller is improved upon many of the others in that the rumble is good, I can turn on the switch from the home button, it has a turbo (although I didn’t use that), but it doesn’t have amiibo functionality, so if that’s important to you check my other reviews... basically it can do almost everything the official controller can do at a much cheaper price! The only drawback for me is the design but hey you can’t argue with the value!
