The LevelOne KVM-0290 is a 2-port USB HDMI switch for home or small office use. The switch allows computers with different operating systems to connect to a single user interface, consisting of mouse, keyboard and HDMI monitor. With the pre-assigned keyboard hotkeys, it is easy to switch between computers with a single press of a button. The switch supports video resolutions of 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz, as well as HDCP, digital copy protection for HDMI signals. In addition, it offers convenience features such as automatic scanning and audio support The KVM switch is easy to install and plug and play and powers itself through the USB port. Der Kunde hatte zunächst einen anderen Umschalter, der einige Probleme machte. Der LevelOne KVM-0290 Switch macht dagegen genau, was er soll: Er schaltet zwischen zwei Windows 10 Rechnern hin- und her, Ausgabegerät ist ein Full-HD Fernseher (1920 x 1080).Die kleine Kabelfernbedienung sorgte dann noch zusätzlich für Freude.Sehr vereinzelt funktionierte nach dem Umschalten die Maus nicht, was stets durch nochmaliges hin- und herschalten behoben werden konnte.Da der Kunde sehr schlecht sieht, ist bei den beiden Windows 10-Rechnern die Ansicht auf 200% gestellt. Beim Erwachen aus dem Ruhemodus waren die Abstände der Desktopsymbole reproduzierbar absurd vergrößert, und zwar bis zum Neustart. Dies mag aber an unserem eher speziellen Setup liegen. Falls aber jemand ähnliche Probleme hat: Wir haben den Ruhemodus einfach deaktiviert, seitdem ist Ruhe.
